Beth (Mingle) Morningstar

     Beth (Mingle) Morningstar, 56, rural Huntingdon, went home to be with her Lord, Friday morning at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

     She was born in Altoona, daughter of Marguerite “Peggy” (Isenberg) and the late Thomas E. Mingle.

     Surviving are her mother, Peggy of Williamsburg; a daughter, Christy Chamberlain of Huntingdon; partner, Mike Ankeney; two step-children: Heather Raithel (Jamie) in Maryland and Michael Ankeney of Huntingdon; two grandchildren: Gavin and Harper Raithel in Maryland; a brother, Sam A. Mingle (Yvonne) of rural Williamsburg; a niece, Casey Mingle of Pittsburgh; a nephew, Matthew Mingle of rural Williamsburg; and a “second daughter” (friend of Christy), Dana (Miller) Davis of Huntingdon.

        She was a member of Woodcock Valley Bible Church, James Creek where she participated in many events with her church family, whom she loved dearly.

        Beth was a 1979 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also earned an associate degree in Business Management.  She was employed for many years as the service manager for Jim’s Anchorage, Hesston and was also the founder and operator of Simply Bess Cleaning.

   She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Raystown Lake, watching sunrises, Penn State football and going to the beach, especially Anna Maria Island in Florida.

     Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9pm, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Williamsburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 5270 Piney Creek Rd., Williamsburg, PA 16693.  A funeral service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the church, Pastor Barry L. Yingling officiating. 

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund, P.O. Box 313, State College, PA 16804 or Woodcock Valley Bible Church, 3616 Morningstar Dr., James Creek, PA 16657.
